Dr. Forbes received his undergraduate degree from Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina and graduated from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. He spent the following ten years in the U.S. Army completing his residency at Fitzsimons Army Medical Center in Denver, Colorado, and did tours of duty at Fort Stewart and Fort Gordon. Dr. Forbes is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatrics and also an active a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. His medical interests include developmental pediatrics and coordinating the care of children with disabilities and chronic illnesses.
Dr. Forbes is a wonderful pediatrician and so patient with our two girls (2.5 years and 5 months)! He is very thorough and provides such good care. Can’t say enough good things.
Best Doctor for my teen boy, he can connect and not go overboard with treatment plans but at the same time treats Illnesses with a smart treatment plan. Dr. Forbes and his staff are great! All three of my children see him and they are 16, 13, and 5. My youngest has Down Syndrome and he is always very patient with him.
